Main History

Witches are a breed existing since many decenies but have begun to be enumerated only recently when ponies and zebras are seen to mix a little more in countries and that the number of witches create an anguish. These strange ponies were feared. In a world where magic can be a great threat, this new species capable of manipulating it has not been well received by local ponies. Parents, treated as demons or beings bargaining with the devil, were either to hunted or to persecuted. Giving birth to a witch often results in infatuation or child murder by local ponies. Over time, the parents fled with their child, preparing for any eventuality. Over time, a rumor circulated; a loving island of a freshly free ponies collected lost souls. So, more and more parents were crossing the country to swim at Gate Island, the place where they would be free to raise and love their child. With now the ability to grow and work their power, witches could be understood and accepted once their talents have been revealed practical. Thus, the world was able to accept them and, with the years and the loss of this hatred with the arrival of modern mentality, they can prospect in all Equestria. An enormous gratitude and loyalty flows through the veins of the witches and think of the Dracossucus, the race that saves them, being part of their family.

How do they appear in Equestria ?

Witches are born when a zebra parent and another Equestrian species make a foal. (pegasus, bat ponies, yaks, etc...) A witch is not born every time. (50%)
Each combination of species with a zebra do a different witch sub-species.

Every sub-species can be more or less the size they are assigned to. Kentaurs are the only one to be found in the Gigantic size to the Tiny size.

Different forms available !

My Little Pony - New & Late Generation

This is the original form of witches. They are born this way and, normally, live in this form. Before the new generation, a late generation of witches existed. Some still exist but are now rare because no longer available in commissions.

Furry & Human form

Furries and human form are special versions. If, basically, witches are born in equestria in the world of my little pony, you should know that in their universe there is a special place ; "Hell". Despite it not being related to biblical hell it's still the name it is given as it's for the bravest of creatures within Equestria to come together to participate in the black market. In this place, doors to parallel universes are available.
From universes to the world of humans, the world of furry, an anime world or even your own alternate universe; anything is possible to justify a witch in another universe. However, they will still have only 3 forms, the one presented here. The human form gives them two horse ears where the human ears are normally placed, a flat nose, a tail and horse legs. Furries are the same as human but with the pony head.
